Greer Upstate Recreational Hockey Association (GURHA), a Greer, SC-based recreational amateur adult ice hockey organization for men and women, was established in Spring 2020.
GURHA is managed by Robert Magnus, a long-time resident, businessman and recreational hockey player. Magnus with the assistance of several other key people organized and created GURHA to grow the recreational ice hockey community in the Greer, SC area and enhance game play for all.
WHAT WE DO
GURHA provides hockey athletes with opportunities to organize teams, compete against each other and interact with teammates in a safe environment. Enjoy the ability to engage in a healthy sport that benefits them both physically and mentally.

This initiative modernizes the culture of the game with support from the players and captains to officials, sponsors and fans. This club is designed to elevate hockey and maintain its momentum in the Greer, SC and Upstate areas.
WHERE WE PLAY
Games are played at The Ice Station at 211 School Street in downtown Greer, SC, a beautiful, full-service facility with an ice rink, locker rooms, a spectating area, a lobby with arcade games, a limited pro shop and more, and an outdoor area with plenty of seating and a grilling station.
